Kelveen develops a motorised shutter that works with the sun: it harvests winter radiation by sending it back indoors, protects from overheating in summer, reinforces insulation at night and exposes a photovoltaic face when the opening is free. Designed for the retrofit of pre-1990 multi-family and office buildings, it mounts on the existing opening, with no structural work and fully reversibly. The project, led by Paul Trément in Bordeaux, is at the prototype stage: energy simulation operational, patent application filed with the INPI on 15 August 2026, test rig in fabrication.
